That is the whole of it. You talk to someone who needs a website, you pick a template and make it theirs, and you decide what to charge.
The running of it. You do not get a server, a support rota or a 2am page, because none of those are yours.
Most people who need a website do not want to learn hosting to get one. A tradesperson, a restaurant, a therapist, a band, a local charity, a shop that only exists on someone else's marketplace — they need the site, not the stack. You are the person who takes that off them.
Being straight about it: this is real work and there is no client list waiting for you. Finding the first one is the hard part, and it is the part that is yours. What we remove is everything that usually makes taking that client risky — the servers, the upkeep, the 2am outage, the invoice that bounces. You do not carry any of those, and you are not billed for the sites you build.
